The Microsoft's Chinese branch announced a new variant of the Nokia XL smartphone - enriched with support for LTE and a slightly better model specification than in the initial one. Unfortunately, it will be a model designed exclusively for the Chinese market...
Nokia XL LTE actually does not differ in appearance from the original. The most noticeable change are different imprints on the back of the phone. The new model is also slightly lighter than the standard XL – it weighs 158 instead of 190 g. Like the standard model, Nokia XL LTE will be offered in several colours. There are no changes in a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, a 5 megapixel camera and a battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh. The novelty is, however, a larger amount of memory (1 GB instead of 768 MB), and an improved processor – a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 clocked at 1.2 GHz. Unfortunately, the smartphone supports only local Chinese LTE, so this version will not come to our market. It is not known anything about international varieties Nokia XL LTE.
