Another smartphone with a Philips logo debuts on the Chinese market. The model S399, which supports TD-LTE network, appeared a few days ago at the Chinese data base TENAA, but now it has the official launch.
Philips S399 is designed for China Mobile network, at the moment we do not know whether we also see its international variant. The smartphone got a quite attractively styled housing with a thickness of 9.65 mm and a 5-inch HD screen. The heart of the phone is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, supplied probably by MediaTEK. There is only 1GB of RAM and for the user there will remain available to the majority of the 4-gigabyte media drive, and this space can be expanded using a microSD card. The smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and CMOS sensor, as well as 2-megapixel front camera. On board we will also find Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone runs on Android 4.3, while among the supported network ranges we see TD-LTE 2600/2300/1900 MHz, TD-SCDMA 2000/1900 MHz and GSM 1900/1800/900 MHz.
