During the IFA 2014 we visited, among others, Alcatel booth, or TCL. There, beyond the already well-known models, we watched some novelties.
There were presented, among others, a new tablet, as well as interesting accessories: extra simple Bluetooh handset with an incredible styling (with a glass front) and an additional e-ink display. Devices allow you to view notifications and use certain functions of a smartphone, without having to pull it out of a pocket.

We were able to see how the model Hero 8 looks like. As the name suggests it has an 8-core processor (1.7 GHz) and an 8-inch display (1920x1200 pixels). So many "eights", now it's time for "four" - working at 4G networks, or LTE, it has Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.4. In addition, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory. The battery is powerful - 4060 mAh. The front camera is 2, and 5-megapixel rear.

Another model - Hero 2 - is a simple phone with a 13-megapixel camera (digital zoom, face detection, image stabilizer). It has a dedicated to this - as mentioned in the introduction - additional portable handset, acting as DECT in fixed phones. We connect the handset via Bluetooth and using it we can receive and make calls or messages (SMS or email). The device has a 2-inch screen and internal memory (8 MB RAM, 16 MB ROM). With its help we can control, among others, multimedia and digital camera on a phone.

For this phone we can also attach another device - a special 80-gram reader. It has an e-ink screen with a resolution of 4.3 megapixels. The internal memory is 4 MB.
