Christmas are coming. This thought caught me when I saw another new phone for seniors. This time it is a model Haier Z2. This is an extremely simple design, adapted to the needs of users less familiar with the technology.
Haier Z2 takes the form of a clam shell. The phone is equipped with a keyboard with large buttons and a 2.4-inch display with 320x240 pixels, showing a relatively simple menu. On the list of equipment we can find furthermore a distinctive SOS button, placed somewhat in a strnage place. Tapping it requires opening the flip of the phone, which in an emergency can be not so easy... The phone has an MP3 player, a microSD card socket for up to 32 GB and a VGA camera. Accessories complement the LED notification on the outside of the panel. Such a simple phone does not require too much computing power, thus it uses only the processor with a 321 MHz clock and 64 MB of RAM. The price - will probably be adequate to the hardware capabilities.
