Panasonic T9: a cheap smartphone from India

Another smartphone from Panasonic comes to the Indian market. This time we will deal with the budgetary, cost-effective design. Panasonic T9 is priced at the equivalent of less than $ 100, but for its price, is presents quite tolerable.

The most attractive is its visual side. The phone is sleek and has a nice styling of the housing. It will also be available in several different colours: beyond black and white, it can also appear in dark blue or red. The technical side is not so thrilling, but for the price – it seems to be acceptable. The phone has a 3.5-inch HVGA display and a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor supported by 512 MB of RAM. We have also 4 GB of memory, a microSD card slot and support for two SIM cards. The lack of 3G connectivity and a set of cameras look a bit miserable, but unfortunately they are inseparable in cheap smartphones. A 2-megapixel camera and a VGA camera aren't miracles, but at that price it is actually difficult to require more. As a consolation remains listening to FM radio and a decent - I think - running time without charging. The battery 1300 mAh in such a simple phone should last for two days... comforting is the presence of Android in the standard version. Unfortunately - the manufacturer did not specify in which it will be released.
