In the database of the Chinese certifier TENAA appeared a new Samsung tablet, designated as SM-T715. It is probably the new Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. If TENAA data is true, the equipment is going to be very attractive.
TENAA says that Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is equipped with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz. This is probably Exynos 7420, but TENNA normally does not give in their tables a CPU type. There was determined the capacity of RAM - 3 GB - as well as the internal memory - 16 GB. This memory can of course be enlarged with a 128 GB microSD card. The tablet has an 8-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, also has an 8-megapixel camera and 2-megapixel front webcam. We can assume that the device will be available with a Wi-Fi+LTE module and Wi-Fi only, also previously some information appeared that Galaxy Tab S2 will be offered also in a variant with a screen diagonal of 9.7 inches. Unfortunately, TENAA at the moment does not present this model. It is worth paying attention to the housing dimensions of the tablet: 198.2 x 134.5 x 5.4 mm. It seems that measuring 5.4 mm in thickness Galaxy Tab S2 will be at least for a while the slimmest tablet in the world...
