Acer does not brought any novelties at the CeBIT, but now that I got on the stand, I decided to take a look at an interesting smartphone, which wasn't presented in Barcelona.
The fact that the model Liquid E700 Trio wasn't exhibited at the MWC should not surprise anyone - after all, in some markets, this model debuted a good half year ago. Unfortunately, so far I haven't had the opportunity to watch it live - so catching it up, I'm sharing this with you;)

Acer Liquid E700 Trio looks basically like any other smartphone. It has a plastic housing with an interesting lined profile of shorter sides. It received a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720p and a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. On board you will find also 16 GB of memory, a microSD slot, and two cameras: 8- and 2-megapixel. The phone has the battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh. Apparently TriSim system needs more power than conventional DualSIM. And how does it work? The smartphone uses the standard Android 4.4.2, equipped only with an additional item in the setup menu. It is used just to support three SIM cards. These menu is basically the same as in androido DualSIM mobiles. The only change is one more card. Each SIM can have its unique name and a distinctive colour related to menu items. Cards can be activated or disabled in any configuration, but only one of them can work in 3G. Of course it is possible to indicate that. Cards must be in a microSIM format, but fortunately Acer took care of sensible arrangement of their sockets - no strange trays or latches. The phone impressed me - worked pretty well, and provided a good picture of the screen even at a terrible lighting in the exhibition hall. Unfortunately, this device will probably not go to a Europe-wide distribution.
