I think we've already waited too long for a response of the Chinese companies to YotaPhone. The company Siswoo proposes dual-screen model Siswoo R9 Darkmoon with an energy-saving EPD display. To assess the value of competition, we're missing just... prices.

The main 5.5-inch display of Siswoo R9 Darkmoon is IPS TFT matrix which displays image in FHD resolution, but on the other side of the smartphone there is installed a 5-inch EPD display with a qHD resolution, which will optimize the battery usage while reading or viewing graphic content that does not require colour.

The smartphone operating under the control of Android Lollipop is based on an 8-core Mediatek CPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash ROM. In the information about the machine, unfortunately, there is no annotation to use external memory cards. It is a pity. There is, however, a note of a support for two SIM cards.

Siswoo Darkmoon will work in LTE networks, it will provide support for three 3G bands (900, 1900, 2100 MHz) and four GSM. Whether it will threaten a position of YotaPhone primarily decides unit price on the open market.
