The brand, known primarily for its vacuum cleaners and other household appliances, Dreame is getting closer to releasing its first smartphone. We already know the first details about this device.
The first smartphone from the well-known Chinese brand has already appeared on the EPREL list. The device is called Dreame E1 and has the W5110 designation. There are also scans of the user manual circulating online, thanks to which we see that the first Dreame smartphone will have a rather understated design, somewhat reminiscent – due to the camera arrangement – of smartphones from Samsung or Meizu. The cameras may be a bit disappointing – the main one will be 108-megapixel, but the other two are typical 2-megapixel "filler" cameras – for background blur and macro photography. Another unlabeled sensor is visible. As a consolation, the selfie camera is said to be 50-megapixel. The smartphone will also have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and a 5000 mAh battery with 33-watt charging. The battery is supposedly replaceable, although the manual doesn't confirm this.

The smartphone received a high EPREL rating, and the battery life is rated at a minimum of 800 cycles. Features will also include a minijack, a microSD slot, NFC, an under-screen fingerprint reader, and IP64 waterproofing. The smartphone is expected to measure 162.15 x 75.35 x 7.85 mm. As you can see, the overall design looks like it's in the lower mid-range market segment. The smartphone's strength, however, may lie in its membership in the Dreame ecosystem, which—combined with the fact that Dreame is also working on its own car—suggests considerable potential. The smartphone is expected to be available globally.
