Without much fanfare, Samsung has launched a new tablet. The model Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) appeared on the German-language website of the manufacturer, which is basically synonymous with a market launch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a 7-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The heart of the tablet is a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, supported by 1.5 GB of RAM and Mali-T720 graphics. The tablet has only 8 GB of internal memory, but it also comes with a slot for a microSD card reader supporting up to 200 GB. Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a 5-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front camera, and draws power from the battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, which is enough for nine hours of watching movies or 100 hours of music.
As a standard the tablet has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, but it will be probably also available in a version with LTE modem. The housing is in black or white, while in the role of the system we have Android 5.1. At the moment the price of the new model has not been determined yet, but I do not suspect that it would be high. The timing of availability of the tablet in stores has not been given also, but its presence on the manufacturer site indicates that it should hit the shelves in the coming days.
