Recently, I was wondering if Samsung gives up the Galaxy Note series. Today, we can be almost certain that the series will remain alive, and the next model will simply be Galaxy Note 8.
Information about the fact that Galaxy Note 8 will be created is almost certain, because it comes from an official source - the Korean branch of Samsung. Samsung lists the names of the new models in the information on the compensation scheme for owners of the ill-fated Note 7 and - although there is an announcement made directly - actually leaves no doubt. Note 8 will rise.
The information from the Samsung's Korean branch applies to Galaxy Upgrade program. The program provides that persons who will exchange Galaxy Note 7 for S7 or S7 Edge will be able next year to replace their "seven" model for Galaxy S8 or... Galaxy Note 8. Of course, the exchange will be associated with a charge, but certainly it will not be so high as to become unprofitable for customers. Thus - we know that the next Galaxy Note be established and marked with the next consecutive number. I do not suspect that Samsung has published the announcement, with plans to change the names or to give up the Note product line...
