As previously announced and expected, Asus unveiled at CES two new smartphones: ZenFone AR and ZenFone 3 Zoom.

Of course the first of these models stole the show. Asus ZenFone AR is the world's first smartphone compatible both with the platform Daydream and Project Tango. In brief - it can function both in augmented (AR) and virtual (VR) reality.

Asus ZenFone AR has a whole set of sensors required by Tango - is a set of sensors and computer-vision software by Google that enables smartphone augmented reality. Daydream is Google's platform for high-quality, mobile virtual reality and supports Daydream VR apps.

Technically - Asus ZenFone AR received a 5.7-inch SuperAMOLED display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels with Gorilla Glass 4, and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. This system is supported with Adreno 530 graphics and a powerful (today) main memory - 8 GB of RAM. In addition to these sensors, Asus ZenFone AR also has a 23-megapixel camera Sony IMX318 with an extensive optical image stabilization 3-axis when filming and 4-axis when shooting.

The camera can record 4K video and take pictures combined with a resolution of 92 megapixels. The front camera has 8 megapixels. All complemented by audio chip Hi-Res Audio with DTS and everything controls - Android Nougat. The phone can have up to 256 GB of internal memory, but it is not specified what will be other media options. The phone has a 3300 mAh battery.

The second model, Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom stands out above all with photographic opportunities. It has a dual-camera system which comprises two 12MP cameras, one with a f/1.7-aperture, 25mm wide-angle lens and a second with a 59mm lens. The camera features a Dual Pixel PDAF, subject tracking autofocus, and second-generation laser focus, as well as two-colour LED flash. Combining the strengths of both sensors allows for 2.3 times the approximation of a quality comparable with an optical zoom. The combination of "optical" and digital zoom gives 12X. The camera also allows you to record movies and record 4K RAW images.

The front camera Sony IMX214 is not worse – it has 13 megapixels and lens f/2.0, and as a flash it uses the phone screen. This, in turn, has 5.5-nches, Gorilla Glass 5 2.5D, FullHD resolution and it is made in the AMOLED technology. The heart of ZenFone 3 Zoom is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 graphics, a power source - a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Interestingly, this model uses Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Nougat will appear later. The metal housing will be available in the colours: Navy Black and Glacier Silver. It hasn’t been determined yet the exact specification of this model, we do not know yet what variants of storage will be offered. For now, it was given that the phone
