As you probably remember, Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with an additional key, which supports Bixby's voice assistant. Does it necessarily have to be assigned to one function?
One of the Reddit users says: no. The Bixby button can be attributed to something else - more desirable by the user. Dylan Bertwell has published a video on YouTube that shows that the Bixby button can run, for example, Google's assistant. How it's possible?
The solution is the simplest possible. The "All in One Gestures" app available in the Google Play store allows you to change the behavior of the Bixby button, as well as adding additional gestures to the interface. What's interesting, it's not a new app dedicated to Samsung Galaxy S8 - it's a universal program that can introduce similar features in any other smartphone. This app allows you to change or add a new function to every phone button - and thus to the Bixby button in Samsung.
At the launch of Galaxy S8, I assumed that the emergence of such a solution was only a matter of time, especially since Bixby now supports a very limited number of languages. I did not think it would be that fast, but it was a simple, well-known application. Of course, I will check the operation of this program in my copy of S8 - and I will show you in the review if it works.
