LG V30 and LG V30+ according to the manufacturer's announcement, they will entice users with video, audio, photo, Google Reader functionality, and will face water and falls.
First of all video
LG V30 is primarily a functional and almost professional video recording tool. It features powerful video capabilities not only thanks to the right hardware, but also new software. The user gets a dual-lens camera (Crystal Clear Lens), one of which delivers today's industry's largest aperture - the f/1.6, which means more light and thus far better video recording capabilities in worse lighting conditions.

Graphy software is designed to provide dazzling-looking videos even to those who do not have a lot of idea about filming aesthetics. The software will give the user a choice of a large range of predefined filters, allow them to be modified, and if no one knows which filter to choose - it will suggest itself based on the colour and lighting conditions of the recorded scene. The additional icing on the cake is Point Zoom - an option allows users to zoom in on any subject smoothly using the zoom slider - set the zoom speed and you do not have to worry more about the noises when taking a zoom.
What about the photos?
Glass lenses and a larger aperture should also mean very good image quality. The advanced dual camera module featuring a 16MP standard angle camera and a 13MP wide angle camera is smaller than the module in the V20, resulting in the near flat rear profile of LG V30. For the smoothest and sharpest images, the main standard angel camera is supported by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Hybrid Auto Focus that combines both Laser Detection Auto Focus and Phase Detection Auto Focus. The Snapdragon 835's main unit with the dedicated photo layouts has an influence on the equality of photos and it also has the impact on HDR quality.

- And the sound
The LG V30's sound experience is enhanced by the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC developed in partnership with B&O PLAY. The company logo is found on both the smartphone and the dedicated headset. Hardware has also been added to the appropriate software offering several predefined equalizer settings. In addition, LG V30 is the first smartphone with MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology to support high quality streaming audio.

Display
OLED FullVision Display is designed to provide first of all the convenience of using a smartphone. The device offers an 18: 9 aspect ratio OLED display that displays QHD+ images (2880x1440 pixels). The characteristic of the extra display series has been dropped, but its function is to replace the additional Floating Bar available at any time on the screen. On this occasion, it is also worth mentioning that LG has partnered with Google on the Daydream project - these are the next VR glasses with which the smartphone will work.

Can it be immersed in water and dropped?
As a matter of fact, we do not recommend or test in practice IP68 water resistance and dropping a phone on hard surfaces and MIL-STD-810G military certifications, which, in theory, provide high mechanical resistance to smartphone impact on hard surfaces. LG V30 can boast both. There are certificates, but complaints and warranty repairs are always problematic. Let's also notice that the front and back cover is covered with Corning Gorilla 5 glass. Even the presenter at the press conference did not decide to throw a smartphone. You know - accidents happen.

Price and availability
Unfortunately, at the press conference there was not a single word indicating when andfor how much LG V30 and LG V30+ would be available. From the press release of the manufacturer, it is known that LG V30 will be available to South Korea from September 21st, and then it will gradually appear on the markets of North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
