Meizu officially presented two new models: Meizu 16X and Meizu V8, also in a version V8 Pro. Both have a subdued stylization and medium-sized specifications.
Meizu 16X seems to be more interesting. It has a 6" Full HD+ screen without a notch, as well as a Snapdragon 710 processor with a 2.2 GHz clock and the Adreno 616 graphics chip and the Qualcomm Hexagon 685 DSP AIE processor. The system is supported by 6 GB of RAM, while the internal memory is available in two variants: 64 and 128 GB. Power is provided by a 3100 mAh battery, and the equipment is completed by a fingerprint scanner. There is also LTE (without B20), Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi-Fi and GPS/Glonass/Beidou navigation and a gyroscope. The smartphone has a dual rear camera, with 12 and 20 Mpx matrices and f/1.8 and f/2.6 lenses. The camera has a laser AF, a 6-part LED and optical stabilization of the main matrix. Additionally, it allows you to get a 3x lossless zoom. The front camera has 20 megapixels and the f/2.0 lens. There are three colours to choose from, and prices are 2098 or 2398 yuan, or 307 and 350 dollars.

Meizu V8 has a 5.7-inch HD+ screen. The heart of this model is the MediaTek MT6739 1.5 GHz processor, with PowerVR GE8100 graphics, supported by 3 GB of RAM. The internal memory has 32 GB and can be enlarged with a microSD card. Wi-Fi is single-band here, Bluetooth version 4.2, and LTE again without B20. Beidou navigation is also not visible, although GPS and Glonass are listed in the specification. The rear camera has 13 megapixels and f/2.2 lens, while the front one has only 5 megapixels, but a slide with f/1.9 aperture. The battery has a capacity of 3200 mAh. The price will be 799 yuan, or 117 USD. This model will also appear in the V8 Pro variant, with the Helio P22 processor, 4 + 64 GB memory and a double 12 + 5 Mpx camera (f/2.2 in both lenses). The V8 Pro also has a dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. The price of this version is 1098 yuan - USD 160. Each of them will be available in two colours.
