During IFA 2019, LG Electronics presented the latest G-series smartphone, LG G8X ThinQ model and an improved LG Dual Screen additional screen.
We would like to remind you that the first generation of LG Dual Screen was presented at MWC 2019 in Barcelona.
The latest LG smartphone from the G series - LG G8X ThinQ - and the LG Dual Screen cover are equipped with the same screens, made in OLED technology. In addition, the fingerprint reader integrated with the display allows you to conveniently unlock the smartphone even when the Dual Screen is completely tilted. On the external 2.1-inch display you can check the current time, date, battery charge, notifications and other useful information without having to open Dual Screen. The new Dual Screen is equipped with 360-degree hinges that allow you to set the display in any position - just like in a laptop.
The 32 megapixel camera on the front is responsible for the photos, which is placed in a small drop-shaped notch, thanks to which a large area of the 6.4-inch FullVision display is available to users. Sound quality was also taken care of - the latest LG G8X ThinQ has two 1.2W speakers that produce powerful, balanced stereo sound, there is also a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad digital-to-analog converter tuned by Meridian Audio. The LG G8X ThinQ smartphone and the improved LG Dual Screen will be launched in the US and other key countries in November this year.
