Sony today presented two new models - the flagship Sony Xperia 1 II and positioned slightly lower Xperia 10.II. The Pro flagship variant has also been announced.
Sony Xperia 1.II
Sony Xperia 1 II is quite a pretty flagship, enclosed in a waterproof and dustproof housing with IP68 certification, covered with Gorilla Glass 6. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch display with a cinema ratio of 21: 9 and 4K resolution, made in OLED technology and supporting HDR. The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 865 processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. Of course, Xperia 1 II supports 5G.

Sony Xperia 1 II has a mini jack, stereo speakers and a Dolby Atmos sound system and 3D surround sound. For players, there is a performance support mode, as well as the ability to connect to a DualShock 4 controller. The front of the new Xperia has an 8-megapixel camera, while at the back there are three 12-megapixel cameras and a ToF sensor. Of course, each of these cameras has a different role and lens. The kit includes a main camera and tele (both with optical image stabilization), complemented by a wide-angle lens. Autofocus can work in continuous mode, calculating AF/AE3 parameters 60 times per second. Thanks to this, when photographing moving subjects, it is possible to continuously track AF/AE3 during continuous shooting at up to 20 fps. In the Cinematography Pro mode, a new cinema recording mode, a 10-bit 2K HDR, 120fps high frame image has been introduced. The power supply is provided by a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging. An interesting fact is the ability to control with this smartphone the latest Sony Alpha cameras.

Later Sony Xperia 1 II will appear in the PRO variant, addressed to advanced users, mainly filmmakers and photographers. This model will receive 512 GB of internal memory, as well as an HDMI port, allowing the phone to be connected to a camcorder or a camera. The phone is also to enable transmission of high-quality video through 5G mmWave connectivity, using up to 16 omni-directional antennas. To improve transmission, the smartphone casing was made of a material with high wave permeability, and an advanced cooling system with a steam chamber was introduced to ensure consistent, high performance of the Snapdragon 865 processor. The rest of the specification is based on the standard Xperia 1.II.
Sony Xperia 10.II
The mid-class Sony Xperia 10 II model is also IP68 certified and has an OLED 21: 9 cinema screen - but with Full HD+ resolution and a 6-inch diagonal. A new feature is the multi-window switching feature that makes it easy to switch between recently used and recommended applications. The side sensor allows you to easily choose your favorite applications - just touch it with your thumb. The smartphone works on the basis of the Snapdragon 665 processor, supported by 4 GB RAM memory and 128 GB data memory. Above the screen there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera, while at the back we have a 12-megapixel main camera and a wide-angle camera and tele - both 8-megapixel. There are a minijack and NFC, and the power supply is provided by a 3600 mAh battery. Sales of both models will start in spring.
