In addition to the Mate 40 series models, Huawei presented the Huawei Mate 30E Pro model in China. This is a refreshed smartphone from last year.
In many ways, the new Huawei Mate 30E Pro is identical to the original, but it received a different processor, the Kirin 990E, a modified version of the Kirin 990, known from the earlier version of the phone. This processor, like the previous one, has two Cortex-A76 cores with a clock of 2.86 GHz and a Mali-G76 graphics chip, but without two cores - it's MP14 instead of MP16. The remaining main cores of the system received an increased clock speed for this. Two Cortex A76s jump from 2.09 to 2.36 GHz, and four Cortex-A55s run at 1.95 GHz instead of 1.86 GHz.
The rest of the specification remains unchanged, and the smartphone will be available in China from November 1. Two memory versions will be offered - 8+128 and 8+256 GB and six colour variants. Prices have not been announced yet.
