It happened - photos of new Asus smartphones leaked. See what Asus ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip look like!
It turned out that Asus ZenFone 8 will be a small smartphone with a rather classic look. It was probably this model that appeared recently in the production trailers and was known as Zenfone 8 Mini. The basic Zenfone 8 looks compact, although it's not the slimmest. It has - as previously revealed by the manufacturer - a minijack and a hole in the display for a selfie camera. Unfortunately, the graphics also show "only" a double camera. Leaks indicate that the main matrix has 64 Mpx, and is accompanied by a 12 Mpx wide-angle module. The phone screen is said to have a 5.92-inch diagonal and a quick image refresh - which was also announced by the manufacturer. The source website also claims that in this model we will find a 4000 mAh battery with 30-watt charging. The dimensions of the device are 148x68.5x9 mm with a weight of 170 g.

The second model, ZenFone 8 Flip, is larger and resembles its predecessors. This means that it has a movable camera module - which acts as a front and rear camera and can be adjusted at different angles. The camera is triple here, with 64 (main) 8 (tele) and 12 (wide-angle+macro) Mpx matrices. The source states that the screen of this model has a diagonal of 6.67 inches, and the power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 30 W fast charging. According to 91mobiles, this model is quite large and heavy: 165x77.3x9.5 mm + 230 g.

In new Asus models, we expect Snapdragon 888 processors, in the company's teasers there was also talk of waterproofing - but I think that this information only applies to the first of the models described today, because Flip - has a movable element that makes it impossible to offer IP68. We are still unsure whether Asus will only present these two models on May 12 - or whether a third will join them, as some rumors have suggested.
