Alcatel turned out to be one of the first producers who decided to reveal their new products under the guise of semi-virtual MWC 2021 fair. The company presents the Alcatel 1 2021 and Alcatel 1L 2021 smartphones, as well as a children's smartwatch.
All Alcatel novelties belong to the budget segment, and even ultra-budget one. Suffice it to say that the most expensive of the three novelties is the aforementioned smart watch for children, the Alcatel Movetime Family Watch 2. Let's go over the new models, starting with the cheapest.
Alcatel 1 (2021)
Alcatel 1 2021 - with the year we added in the name - is a continuation of the "Jedynek" series from 2018-2019. There is a smartphone with Android Go, which is in the segment of devices from the lowest price range. It costs only 59 euros. It is equipped with a 5-inch FWVGA+ display surrounded by a wide frame and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera, in turn, has 5 megapixels, and the smartphone is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. The heart of the device is the MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor, supported by a gigabyte of RAM and 16 GB internal memory, which can be increased by 32 GB with a microSD card.

Alcatel 1L 2021
Alcatel 1L 2021 is a slightly more serious design, equipped with a 6.1-inch HD+ display, an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor and 2 GB of RAM. The flash memory holds 32 GB and can be expanded with a microSD card by the entire 128 GB. The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh, and the selfie camera has a 5 Mpx matrix. That's what we have a camera with 13+2 Mpx matrices, and the equipment is complemented by a fingerprint reader. The model will be offered in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. It was said to cost 2,699 Mexican pesos, which is 114 euros.

Alcatel Movetime Family Watch 2
The children's smartwatch Alcatel Movetime Family Watch 2 is the most expensive - and probably the most interesting - from Alcatel's MWC2021 offer. The device has a square display with a diagonal of 1.54 inches and a housing with IP65 tightness. The watch is equipped with a place for a nanoSIM card and LTE connectivity and the ability to handle voice calls, as well as an SOS alarm key. The watch has GPS and allows parents to track the child, as well as send information to the guardian's smartphone and the child leaves the defined area. For this - all the usual functions of a smartwatch, such as sleep monitoring, are available. The device has 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of data memory and a 850 mAh battery. The price is 149 euros.
