Although it hasn't been released yet, a Czech store already offers a new model Vivo X80 Lite. Unfortunately, this average guy doesn't have much in common with the flagship brothers...
If the specification given by the Czech store is true, only the name connects with the flagship models of the X80 series. Don't get me wrong - Vivo X80 Lite is a valid, mid-range and well-equipped smartphone, but after the adventure with the impressive Vivo X80 Pro I was hoping for a bit more. So what did I see?
Vivo X80 Lite has the typical Vivo styling - and does not stand out in any way. As you can see, it comes in an attractive orange color which gives the smartphone some character. Unfortunately, the front is disfigured by an unfashionable, droplet notch that houses a decent 50-megapixel selfie camera. This is certainly a strong point of the specification, as is the flat, AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.64 inches and a resolution of 2404 x 1080 pixels, i.e. FHD+.

The heart of Vivo X80 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. RAM can probably be enlarged virtually, and data memory can be expanded with a microSD card. The power supply is provided by a 4500 mAh battery, probably with fast charging, which, unfortunately, the store does not mention. However, the rear camera, which is typical for the middle shelf, was mentioned. The main 64 Mpx matrix is accompanied by an 8 Mpx wide-angle camera and 2 Mpx for macro or background blurring (not specified). The list of equipment includes NFC, and as a system - of course Android 12 with the company's FunTouch overlay. The price in the Czech Republic is CZK 10990, or $ 449. The specification given by the Czech store Vivo X80 Lite is consistent with the data of the already known model Vivo V25 5G. Considering the fact that the appearance of both smartphones is identical - apparently we are just dealing with a simple rebranding of the model to selected markets.
