Lava Blaze Pro dreams of telephoto

photo: Lava

A not very expensive smartphone, which looks as if it had a periscope telephoto lens, debuted in India. Unfortunately, Lava Blaze Pro would like to be able to tempt with a solution reserved for flagships, but due to the price - it can only imitate them.

When we look at the renders of the new Lava model - We almost see a flagship. On the quite aesthetic back of the housing (available in several attractive colors) you can see a large frame of a triple camera. It seems to be rich here: one lens is visually enlarged, and the other is integrated into a square frame, like a periscope telephoto lens found (and quite rarely!) In flagship smartphones. Unfortunately, Lava Blaze Pro is not a flagship, and the fancy camera is just a mockup. In fact, only the main 50-megapixel module makes sense. The other lenses cover 2 Mpx and VGA matrices, of course, used for macro photos and blurring the background.

The rest of the Lava Blaze Pro specification is already predictable: a 6.5 inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (but with a 90Hz refresh rate!), MediaTek Helio G37 processor and 4+64 GB memory. If necessary, RAM can be virtually enlarged by 7 GB, and flash memory by 256 GB - with a microSD card. All this is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 10-watt, slow charging, and the equipment is complemented by, among others minijack and side fingerprint reader. For a device that - you will admit - looks more expensive than it really is, you have to pay 10,500 in India. rupees, or about $ 130.
