Budget smartphones are usually associated with cheap, plastic housings. And here's a surprise: Lava Blaze NXT has a glass housing!
Lava Blaze NXT is a direct successor to last year's model Lava Blaze, which was also distinguished by a casing exceeding the requirements of the budget segment. In this year's model, the focus was again on the appearance. There are several color versions, and the back of the housing (considering the price of the phone) is finished almost luxuriously - with glass. Unfortunately, the front with a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ display is no longer so impressive. The screen has a wide chin, a slightly narrower frame and a droplet notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear camera - like the rest of the back - looks rich. However, appearances are deceiving. The frame hides three lenses, but apart from the main 13 Mpx camera, we have only 2 Mpx for macro and VGA for blurring the background. The interior of the phone is also not too rich ... We have a MediaTek Helio G37 processor, 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM (but also 3 GB of virtual RAM), and - 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal memory. The whole thing is powered by a 5000 mAh battery, but with only 10-watt charging. The equipment is complemented by minijack and a classic fingerprint reader on the back. The phone is as cheap as its specs suggest: in India it costs 9.3k. rupees, i.e. 115 dollars or 515 zlotys.
