Xiaomi today announced the European premiere of smartphones from the Redmi Note 12 series. Four models have been released for international distribution so far: the basic Redmi Note 12 in 4G and 5G versions, as well as Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Watch 3.
The Redmi Note 12 series is to tempt with a fairly favorable price list and rich equipment. Smartphones offer AMOLED screens, large batteries and decent cameras, but they also have smaller advantages in the form of infrared emitters, stereo speakers or minijack outputs or side fingerprint readers. They are also available in a wide range of colors.
Redmi Note 12
We start the review with the basic Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 4G. It is a smartphone equipped with a Snapdragon 685 processor and a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is a 13-megapixel selfie camera in the screen hole, and on the back we have a fairly typical set of 50 + 8 + 2 Mpx photographic matrices (additional for wide-angle and macro photos). Redmi Note 12 4G is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging.

Redmi Note 12 5G
Redmi Note 12 5G strongly resembles the 4G version - and not only in appearance. It has the same display and a pretty similar photography package, including a triple rear camera and a 13-megapixel front one. However, the main matrix on the back was replaced with a 48-megapixel one. Of course, the processor is also different - in the 5G variant we have the Snapdragon 4 gen 1 system. The battery, invariably, has a capacity of 5000 mAh and 33-watt charging.
Redmi Note 12 Pro
Redmi Note 12 Pro does not differ in style from the other models and still has the same screen size: 6.67 inches. The difference is that it uses a more interesting Flow AMOLED, with a 10-bit color palette and Dolby Vision and HDR10 + certification, but still with Full HD + resolution and refresh rates: 120 Hz image and 240 Hz touch. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, supported by LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memories, and a cooled radiator with an area of 2,000 square meters. The battery has a constant capacity of 5000 mAh, but already 67-watt charging. Selfie is provided by a 16 Mpx camera, and on the back of the housing we have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera with OIS optical stabilization. Next to it, invariably, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+
The top model of the series, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, is basically a development of the model described earlier. Only the camera has been changed, replacing the main matrix with a 200-megapixel 1/1.1" Samsung HPX sensor, of course with OIS optical stabilization. Another modification is an even faster charging system - it works with a power of 120 W.

Redmi Watch 3
The Redmi Watch 3 was also launched for sale. It has an almost square AMOLED display with a brightness of 600 nits and a diagonal of 1.75 inches. The device has features typical for a smartwatch, such as monitoring sleep and physical activity, as well as measuring pulse and blood oxygenation. The watch recognizes over 120 sports activities and can work up to 12 days. The housing is waterproof in class 5 ATM, but there is no NFC. The price of the device is 119 euros.
