In the past few hours, Vivo has presented two (although actually one!) New, budget smartphones. Vivo Y02A appeared in Bangladesh, and in China - technically identical - Vivo Y11 2023.
If it wasn't for Vivo's naming fun, it would be difficult to pay attention to phones. Vivo Y02A and Vivo Y11 2023 are simple designs, based on the old MediaTek Helio P35 processor, supported by several different sets of LPDDR4x memory and eMMC 5.1. Vivo Y02A is available only with the 3+32 GB set, while its Chinese clone, i.e. Vivo Y11 2023 is offered with much more useful sets of 4+128 or even 6+128 GB.

Smartphones are also equipped with 6.51-inch LCD screens with HD+ resolution, with a droplet notch for 5-megapixel selfie cameras with f/2.2 apertures. On the back there are 8-megapixel cameras with f/2.0 apertures, and the equipment is supplemented with a minijack, a microSD card slot and an independent DualSIM. All this is powered by batteries with a capacity of 5000 mAh, charging with a power of 10 W through the ... microUSB socket. So as you can see, the specification looks like it was taken alive from 2018. It is worth recalling here that the model called Vivo Y11 appeared already in 2014, and later had a sequel in 2019. Now we see its third installment - maybe not with an improved specification, but with an added clone! This clone - Vivo Y02A - costs 12,499 taka (excluding tax) in Bangladesh, which is about $ 116. We are talking about the weakest version 3+32 GB. The Vivo Y11 2023 model costs 899 or 999 yuan in China, respectively for the 4+128 or 6+128 GB versions. Converted, it's $131-145. And you can immediately see that for shopping - it's better to go to China, if someone needs a smartphone that isn't thrilling enough ...
