It's done! As announced, HTC has presented its first flagship smartphone in a long time. What does HTC U23 Pro offer?
Have we been waiting for HTC's flagship? Will HTC U23 Pro disappoint fans of the brand? Let's see... HTC U23 Pro does not impress with its styling. It looks aesthetic and correct - that's all that can be said about it. The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, so we are dealing with an ultra-average, not a total flagship, but this is of course no complaint. The processor is accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of operating memory, and in addition - 256 GB of flash memory and a place for a microSD card. The battery is powered by a 4600 mAh battery with 30-watt wired charging and 15-watt inductive and reverse charging.

The display is flat, OLED, with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The screen has a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.45), and on the back we find a 108-megapixel main camera (f/1.7) with OIS Optical Image Stabilization. It is complemented by: an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.4), a 2-megapixel background blurr (f/2.4) and a 5-megapixel macro camera (f/2.45). The equipment is complemented by NFC, minijack and side fingerprint reader, and everything is managed by the Android 13 system. Of course, with support for Viverse solutions, i.e. the VR ecosystem from HTC. The housing is available in two colors and is IP67 certified. HTC U23 Pro debuted in Taiwan, where prices are 16990 or 17990 local dollars (8+256 or 12+256 GB versions, respectively). After conversion, we are talking about USD 550/585. Of course, our prices will be higher, but for now we do not know when the novelty will come to our doorsteps. Disappointed or surprised...?
