Realme presented another cheap smartphone inspired by the iPhone. Looks good, what are the specs?
Realme C53 (previously shown in India as Realme Narzo N53) is a more modest successor to our reviewed Realme C55. This can be seen from the front camera, which in this model is in a drip notch ... but still has a Dynamic Capsule, i.e. an expanding area with notifications next to the camera. Despite the change in location, the Realme C53 camera has the same resolution as the Realme C55 camera, i.e. 8 Mpx. The difference in quality is revealed only when recording videos, which in the case of the Realme C53 can only be recorded at 30 frames per second, and the front camera only in HD - recording in Full HD offers only the rear 50 Mpx camera. Even the secondary depth sensor has been reduced from 2 Mpx to 0.3 Mpx, but it probably won't make much difference.
Another more modest element is the processor - we have the Unisoc T612 here, and the memory variant is one: 6 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory. Fortunately, nothing stands in the way of expanding the space for files by up to 2 TB with a microSD card. The screen was also saved, although with a slightly larger 6.74-inch diagonal but with a lower resolution - 720 x 1600 px. It is still an IPS TFT display, and it still boasts a relatively fast 90 Hz refresh rate. The battery is as good as the Realme C55 - it has a capacity of 5000 mAh and can be charged with 33 W.
