Honor quietly unveiled the Honor X6a smartphone in the UK. Its main features include huge memory capacity, large screen and high refresh rate.
Honor X6a features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch display. It offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, 20.15:9 aspect ratio and 90 Hz refresh rate. Inside the device is the MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor. The smartphone is available in versions with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. Both versions offer 128 GB of internal memory, and additionally has a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

On the back of the device there is a triple camera, consisting of a 50 Mpx main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture and a macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. It supports portrait mode, time-lapse filming, super macro, HDR photos and 1080p video recording. On the front Honor X6a has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front lens supports various shooting modes such as portrait, time-lapse and face recognition.
Honor X6a is powered by a 5,200mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. It runs on Magic OS 7.1, based on Android 13. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports two nano-SIM cards, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack . In order to secure the device, a fingerprint reader is placed on the side. The dimensions of the device are 163.32 x 75.07 x 8.35 mm, and the weight is 188 grams.
The phone is priced at £129 in the UK and comes in Midnight Black, Sky Silver and Cyan Lake colours. It is expected to be available in other European countries soon, however it is unclear which other markets outside of Europe will receive the model.
