Samsung's Malaysian branch today presented two inexpensive, somewhat related smartphones: Samsung Galaxy A05 and Samsung Galaxy A05s. The launch is rather modest - but the devices are also inexpensive.
Samsung Galaxy A05 and Samsung Galaxy A05s have a lot of features common. These include similar styling and the size of the LCD display: 6.7 inches. The Samsung Galaxy A05 model has a screen with HD+ resolution, but the Galaxy A05s has Full HD+. There are droplet notches in both screens, but in the Galaxy A05 model the selfie camera placed there has a resolution of 8 megapixels, while in the Galaxy A05s it is 13-megapixel (both f/2.0). The rear, main cameras are the same: 50-megapixel, with f/1.8 aperture and support for a 2-megapixel mesh to blur the background. However, the Galaxy A05s model has another 2-megapixel camera added - this time for macro. All additional cameras have f/2.4 apertures.

It can be sarcastically said that Samsung's new budget phones have something similar to the company's flagships. We are talking about a 25-watt charging system for filling 5000 mAh batteries. Echoes of the Galaxy S series can also be seen in the appearance of camera frames, especially in the Galaxy A05s. The new models differ in processors: Galaxy A05 has MediaTek Helio G85, while Galaxy A05s uses the Snapdragon 680 system. Both models come with the same, one (for now) set of memory - 6+128 GB, but the memory for files can be expanded with a card. microSD. The new models debut with the Android 13 operating system with OneUI overlay. Samsung - traditionally - does not provide prices on its pages - they will be announced separately for each of the markets to which the new Galaxy A will be released.
