Vivo has expanded its offer in the lower mid-range segment with two new models - Vivo Y12 and Vivo Y36i and Vivo Y36m. What do new smartphones offer?
Both Vivo new products are similar in appearance and belong to the same market segment. The smartphones are nothing special - but their equipment cannot be faulted. Vivo Y36m and Vivo Y36i - as the marking indicates - they are relatives. The first one has a MediaTek 6020 processor and LPDDR4X and UFS2.2 memories with capacities of 6.8 or 12 GB RAM and 128, 265 or 512 GB flash. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 15-watt charging, and the LCD display has a diagonal of 6.56 inches, HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The camera set is modest - 5 megapixels on the front, 13 on the back. There are plenty of memory versions and prices:
- 6+128 GB - 1499 yuan, USD 212
- 8+128 GB - 1599 yuan, USD 226
- 8+256 GB - 1899 yuan, USD 268
- 12+256 GB - 2099 yuan, USD 296
- 12+512 GB - 2399 yuan, USD 339

The Vivo Y36i is virtually identical to the Vivo Y36m model described above. However, it differs from it in the color palette of the casing and the memories. This smartphone is available only in the 4+128 GB version, for 1,199 yuan, or USD 170. Most likely, it is simply a different version of Vivo Y36m, intended for a different distribution channel.

The last new product is Vivo Y12, which looks practically the same as the other two new products, and has the same screen size - 6.56 whole. The screen - invariably - has HD+ resolution, but the refreshment is only at 60 Hz. The battery is also the same as in the other new products described here: 5000 mAh with 15 W charging. The interior of the smartphone is different. The Y12 model is based on the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, supported by 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal memory. The cameras are also different here. The front one has 8 megapixels, while the rear one has 13+2 Mpx. The price of this model is 999 yuan, or $140.
