OnePlus today presented a mid-range smartphone OnePlus Ace 3. It is interesting to us because we will soon see it on our market - as OnePlus 12R.

Everything indicates that the OnePlus Ace 3 model - like last year - will appear outside China as OnePlus 12R. We even know that it will happen on January 23, with the global premiere of OnePlus 12. But let's get back to the premiere in China. What will OnePlus Ace 3 offer, i.e. "our" OnePlus 12R?

OnePlus Ace 3 received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0, and the Android 14 operating system with the ColorOS 14 interface. Three system updates and 4 years of security support are planned. The smartphone can be praised for its solid battery - the battery has a capacity of 5,500 mAh and charges with a power of up to 100 W. The ProXDR AMOLED LTPO 4.0 display by BOE has a diagonal of 6.78 inches, image refreshment with a frequency from 1 to 120 Hz and a typical brightness of 1,600 nits and maximum 4500 nits or PWM dimming 2160 Hz.

The screen also has an integrated fingerprint reader and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover. The back of the housing is also glass (in three colours to choose from), and everything is connected by a metal frame with an integral slider to mute notifications.

The camera set may be a bit disappointing. That's him:

Knowing OnePlus' habits, in Europe, as OnePlus 12R, we will see this model only in black and blue - without gold. I am also almost sure that we will not buy the 16 GB + 1 TB memory version here, but I will try to predict the prices of the other two varieties.
