OnePlus 12 has a distinctive, corporate style. It is distinguished by an asymmetrically arranged but aesthetically integrated camera frame, rounded edges, narrow display frames and, finally, OnePlus' iconic slider notification switch. The smartphone runs the Android 14 operating system with the company's Color OS interface - and will receive three system updates and 4 years of security support.

OnePlus 12 has a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, supplied by BOE. The screen operates with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz and controls PWM dimming at a frequency of 2160 Hz, while its maximum brightness reaches 2,600 nits - twice as much as in the previous model. There is an optical fingerprint reader under the screen, and in the upper part there is a hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

OnePlus 12 received a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with an extensive cooling system and LPDDR5x and UFS 4.0 memories. It is powered by a 5,400 mAh battery, charging wired at 120 W and inductively at 50 W. The OnePlus 12 equipment also includes stereo speakers, an infrared transmitter and AAC X-axis vibration. The set of rear cameras is similar to that in the OnePlus Open. The main, 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 camera has a 1/1.43" matrix, a lens with an equivalent focal length of 23 mm and an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by a wide-angle, 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 camera with a matrix size of 1/2" with a lens with a focal length of 14 mm and an aperture of f/2.2, as well as a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B camera with a matrix size of 1/2" with a periscope telephoto lens with a 3x zoom, focal length of 70 mm and an aperture f/2.6. The model is offered with memories 12+256 or 16+512 GB at prices of 949/1099 euros or 800/900 USD.
