Another model has just joined the Vivo Y100 family, which already has four models - presented in Indonesia Vivo Y100 5G. What does it offer?
In the family of smartphones bearing the common name Vivo Y100, we already have a model marked simply Vivo Y100, as well as its Snapdragon variant Vivo Y100 V2313A and cheaper Vivo Y100A and Vivo Y100i. They all support 5G - so what does the next one, Vivo Y100 5G, do here? In my opinion, at most - confusion in the names, because - although these models are available on different markets - each of them could have the note 5G in the name. So why did Vivo decide to distinguish only the latest model with it? This remains the manufacturer's sweet secret.
In any case, the new Vivo Y100 5G does not differ in terms of capabilities and market segment from the rest of the models with the same name. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, brightness up to 1200 nits and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is a hole cut out in the screen for an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, and two cameras are mounted on the back: a 50-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 lens. The third camera is a "flicker sensor" - whatever that means. The power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 80-watt charging, and all this is enclosed in a housing with dimensions of 163.17x75.81x 7.79 or 163.17x75.81x7.99 mm (depending on the color), meeting the requirements of the IP54 tightness certificate. The phone has 8 GB of LPDDR4X operating memory and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory and weighs 185.5 or 191 g. Prices in Indonesia, depending on the flash drive, are the equivalent of $245 or $265.
