
Vivo today unveiled its impressive Vivo X Fold3 foldable smartphone. It appeared in the basic version and as Vivo X Fold3 Pro. To ensure that the premiere was not too modest, a new tablet was also announced - Vivo Pad3 Pro.
Vivo X Fold3 and Vivo X Fold3 Pro
The star of the day is, of course, the Vivo X Fold3 foldable smartphone. The smartphone appeared in two versions - basic and Pro. Both variants of the smartphone are slim and light. When unfolded, the thickness of the casing is only 4.65 mm, and the total weight is 219 g. Both use the same displays. The external one has a diagonal of 6.53 inches and a resolution of 1172x2748 px and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the internal one - Samsung E7 AMOLED - has a size of 8.03 inches, a resolution of 2480x2200 px and the same refresh rate. Both screens have a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and there is an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under each screen. The smartphones also have infrared transmitters, stereo speakers and the Android 14 operating system with OriginOS 4 overlay and functions using artificial intelligence.

Vivo X Fold3 received a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and the Vivo X Fold3 Pro variant - Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The processors work with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 memories. The Pro model has a 50-megapixel main camera (OmniVision OV50H, 1/1.3", f/1.68) as well as a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with macro function (Samsung JN1, 1/2.76", f/2.0, field of view 119 degrees). The photographic set is complemented by a 64-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens (OmniVision OV64B, 1/2", f/2.57, 3x). This model also has an additional V3 photo chip. In turn, the basic version has a main, 50-megapixel Sony IMX 920 with a matrix 1 /1.49" and f/1.75 aperture. The wide-angle camera is the same as in the Pro, but the telephoto camera is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 816, with a 1/2.93" matrix and an f/1.85 lens. The main and telecameras of both variants are equipped with optical image stabilization. They are also, of course, selfie cameras - with 32-megapixel 1/3.6" matrices. The Pro model is powered by a 5,700 mAh battery, charging wired with a power of 120 W and inductively - 50 W. In turn, the base model has a 5,500 mAh battery and 80-watt charging. Smartphones also differ in tightness: Pro has an IPX8 class, and the basic one - IPX4. The price list is a bit complicated:

Vivo Pad3 Pro
Vivo Pad3 Pro appears somewhat in the shadow of a foldable smartphone - but it is also interesting. It has a 13-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3096x2064 pixels, an image refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 900 nits, as well as a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor and LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 (or UFS 3.1 in the 128 GB version). The tablet also offers an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera, as well as eight speakers and NFC. Optionally, the tablet can be equipped with a stylus and a detachable keyboard, and the device is powered by a 11,500 mAh battery with 66-watt charging. The price list is as follows:
