Ulefone has a diverse set of smartphones in its lineup - some original, others heavily inspired by the competition. Apart from its fashionable appearance, what does Ulefone Note 18 Ultra offer?
Like most smartphones imitating the appearance of iPhone 15 Pro Max, Ulefone Note 18 is a low-end smartphone, although for a budget device it has rather decent specifications. What's worse is that despite "Ultra" in the model name, the new smartphone is equipped much more modestly than the Ulefone Note 17 Pro shown at the beginning of the year. .. looking at the manufacturer's existing devices with the notes "Pro" and "Ultra", it is difficult to find any rule in their nomenclature.

In terms of appearance, Ulefone Note 18 is not completely reproductive, adding a pattern resembling flower petals in black, white and "titanium" colors, although of course in this price segment it is difficult to expect anything other than plastic. Like many manufacturers, Ulefone opted for an island of cameras that visually suggests a larger number of cameras than in reality... but people accustomed to marketing tricks are in for a surprise here. Ulefone Note 18 has only two rear cameras, but both have a resolution of 50 Mpx! The first one is the Samsung S5KGN1 main camera with an f/1.95 aperture, and the second one is a wide-angle f/2.2 camera with a viewing angle of 117°. You won't find useless macro cameras here. On the front we also find a pretty good selfie camera - Samsung S5KGD1 with a resolution of 32 Mpx and f/2.45 aperture.
The front camera is also placed in a small hole instead of a notch, which adds to the beauty of the smartphone, although the effect is offset by thick frames, especially compared to its predecessor with a rounded screen. The Ulefone Note 18 Ultra display is a 6.78-inch IPS TFT with FHD+ resolution (1080x2460 px) and 90 Hz refresh rate. The battery with a capacity of 5450 mAh is above average, charged with a not very fast power of 18 W. The smartphone is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 720 processor with 5G connectivity, and is accompanied by 6 GB RAM, 256 GB of internal memory and the Android 13 operating system. Its attractive elements include a chip for NFC payments, an infrared transmitter to turn your smartphone into a remote control, and an FM radio with a built-in antenna that you can listen to without headphones.
Ulefone Note 18 can currently be purchased in the manufacturer's official store at AliExpress, and its premiere the price is $149.99, or about €140.
