The POCO brand, owned by Xiaomi, today presented new smartphones POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro. According to the manufacturer, they are intended to "redefine the segment of flagship devices" - but in many respects they are rather average.
The new POCO smartphones receive efficient processors with dedicated cooling systems, as well as sets of large memories. They also have AMOLED displays, fast charging and cameras suitable for the mid-to-upper class, but not flagship ones.

POCO F6 received the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, ensuring the highest level of performance - with an AnTuTu score of over 1.53 million. The latest generation of WildBoost 3.0 allows you to play the most demanding games. In addition, the latest LiquidCool technology, including the new IceLoop system, improves the steam circulation flow, enabling better heat dissipation. POCO F6 also features the first CrystalRes display in the POCO F series. It is the flagship 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, as well as a peak brightness of 2,400 nits and 68 billion colors. Narrow frames and a screen-to-body ratio of 94.27% ensure an eye-catching appearance, and TÜV Rheinland certificates regarding eye care ensure safe and comfortable viewing. POCO F6 received a triple 50 MPx camera with an IMX882 sensor with an f/1.59 aperture that lets in more light. POCO F6 also comes with OIS and EIS (digital and optical stabilization) and 4K video at 60 frames per second and Motion Tracking Focus 2.0 for motion tracking. POCO F6 received a 5000 mAh battery. Turbo charging with a power of 90 W allows you to reach 100% charge in only 30 minutes.

POCO F6 Pro
The new POCO F6 Pro fills a gap in the high-performance smartphone market. The device is equipped with a WQHD+ Flow AMOLED 2K display, with a peak brightness of 4000 nits and 3840 Hz PWM dimming and 120 Hz image refresh. The screen with curved edges and slim frames has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. The smartphone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Xiaomi HyperOS operating system, up to 16 GB of RAM and 1TB of mass storage, and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 120 W HyperCharge technology, thanks to which the phone charges up to 100% in 19 hours. minutes. The photographic set includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel main camera, with optical stabilization, a 1/1.55-inch matrix and a good aperture, f/1.6. The set is complemented by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. Dual Native ISO Fusion technology offers dual-band high and low ISO settings with a maximum 16x exposure difference. The smartphone received the Burst Mode 2.0 function, which, together with the POCO Imaging Engine algorithm, optimized the charging speed and increased computing power, which allows you to capture precious moments in a very short time. Additionally, the Ultra Night Algorithm makes night photography, which captures images using AI to combine multiple frames, much easier. Finally, it is worth noting that from the technical side, this model is a clone of the Redmi K70 already known from China.

The Poco F6 is available starting today with the base model (8/256GB) priced at $380, while the memory upgraded version (12/512GB) is $430. That said, early bird buyers will actually get these models at $340 and $380, respectively. In Germany the two versions are EUR 450 (down to EUR 390) and EUR 500 (down to EUR 420). It's also available on Amazon Germany. F6 Pro is also launching today priced at $500 for the 12/256GB model, $550 for 12/512GB and $630 for 16GB/1TB. However, the first sales will be at $50 less that those prices. In Germany, the 12/256GB Pro is EUR 500 on Amazon and the 12/512GB one is EUR 550.
