HMD is not idle. Another model of this brand has just appeared on the horizon - HMD Atlas - an inexpensive average model with 5G.
HMD Atlas has just appeared in a rather specific leak, revealing not only the appearance of the smartphone (in an interesting olive green), but also its specifications and price. What does this unofficial data show? HMD Atlas will be a smartphone from the lower end of the mid-market segment - but already supporting 5G. HMD Atlas is based on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is supported by 8 GB of RAM as well as 128 GB of internal memory, expandable via a microSD card slot. The smartphone will therefore provide 5G connectivity and will also have Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC modules. It will be powered by a 5,500 mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0+ charging, and the equipment will also include a side fingerprint reader and a minijack. In the photographic section, you will find a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, supported by a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera and a depth sensor, i.e. a background blurr. The Android 14 interface in its pure form will appear on a 6.64-inch IPS screen with Full HD+ resolution and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone will have dimensions of 163x75x8.75 mm and weigh 210 g. Its price will be $240, or EUR 224.
