Huawei Nova Flip has a successor. Huawei Nova Flip S is affordable and impressive!
Huawei Nova Flip S debuted without much fanfare; the manufacturer didn't hold a separate press conference for it, but the device is also relatively inexpensive. It's the cheapest foldable phone in the Chinese company's lineup. It costs just 3,488 or 3,788 yuan (for the 256 or 512 GB versions, respectively), or $490-535. This smartphone is 6.9 mm thick when unfolded and weighs 195 g. It comes in six colors - but that's obvious, since flip phones are the eyes of buyers, and style is important. For this reason, the secondary external screen, with a diagonal of 2.14 inches and a resolution of 480x480 pixels, displays not only notifications but also wallpapers and animated characters. It can also have a permanently attached widget, including a QR code for payments, which is quite popular in China.

The internal screen measures 6.9 inches, has a resolution of 1136x2698 pixels, and an LTPO refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The hinge mechanism is certified for durability for at least 1.2 million folds. The smartphone is powered by a 4400 mAh battery with 66-watt charging. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and the HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system, but the processor and RAM capacity are unknown. What we do know is that the smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera, a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.9), and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.2).
