Despite the similar name, Vivo Y28 4G differs in many respects from Vivo Y28 5G. The official information shows a new look and specification changes, including some changes for the better.
Like the 5G variant, Vivo Y28 4G has two cameras on the back, but this time they look more attractive, on a rounded island of cameras with a flash and an LED flash that also serves as a notification LED. The smartphone looks better from the front, with a selfie camera in the hole instead of a notch, although technically it is the same 8 Mpx camera. The 50 Mpx main camera and 2 Mpx background blur on the back also promise to be similar, although in Vivo Y28 5G it is supposedly used for macro photos.

One of the main differences between the two models is the processor - in Vivo Y28 4G its role is played by the less efficient MediaTek Helio G85, accompanied by 8 GB RAM, 256 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 1 TB with a microSD card, and the Android 14 operating system with the Funtouch OS 14 interface. As a consolation, Vivo Y28 4G offers a larger 6000 mAh battery, with much faster charging with a power of 44 W. The difference is also made by a larger 6.68-inch display, although it is still the same LED screen with a similar resolution 1608x720 and refresh rate 90 Hz. The advantages of Vivo Y28 4G include IP64 tightness, which means it is partially waterproof as in the case of Vivo Y28 5G, but completely dustproof.
Vivo Y28 4G is currently available for purchase in Singapore, in a single 8+256 GB memory variant and two colour options - light orange Gleaming Orange and dark green Agate Green. Its price is SGD 269, which translates to USD 199, €186.
