The Nothing brand is open to fans' ideas, as proven by the recently designed Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition designed in cooperation with them. The first CMF smartphone goes even further - now everyone can make their own idea come true.
To create your own version of the screw-on back panel, all you need is a 3D printer and the official render, which can now be downloaded at manufacturer's forum. Nothing stops you from tinkering without using a computer - the panel is attached with popular M2 screws, and Nothing, along with an .stl file for 3D modeling and printing, has also provided a set of diagrams detailing the dimensions of individual components of the smartphone and case.

And these can be truly original ideas... it all started when one of the fans designed a variant of the back panel with a holder for collectible cards, and its renders and prototype caught the attention of the creator of the Nothing brand. Inspired by Carl Pei's work, he decided to publish the official CAD file, opening the door to a multitude of modifications...
