According to leaks, the Oppo F27 series has been expanded by a new, more modest model. It looks very familiar!

On Oppo's official Indian website, you can already find renders, specifications, and the price of the Oppo F27 5G. It is not known whether this smartphone will go on sale outside India, but don't worry - the identical Oppo Reno12 F 5G is already present in many international markets, including Poland. Is it worth paying attention to?

Oppo F27 5G is less unique than the previously presented Oppo F27 Pro+, combining military-standard durability with a classic look. Oppo F27 5G, in addition to dust resistance, offers only partial IP64 waterproofing, but its mid-range parameters are beyond reproach. Its display is a flat 6.67-inch OLED with FHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 2100 nits brightness, and it can also be used with wet fingers. Its processor is Mediatek Dimensity 6300, and the 5000 mAh battery can be charged at 45 W, which should be enough for 4 hours of watching movies after 10 minutes of charging. The processor is accompanied by 8 GB RAM, 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, and the Android 14 operating system with the ColorOS interface. It uses a 50 Mpx main camera with a 2 Mpx depth sensor on the back and a 32 Mpx selfie camera on the front.

Oppo F27 5G also has a few less common advantages. In keeping with the manufacturer's new philosophy, this mid-range smartphone has been gifted with AI features, including AI Eraser 2.0 that removes people from photos, AI Smart Image Matting that removes the entire background, and text tools that generate, summarize, and turn content into speech. In addition to AI features, BeaconLink is also interesting, a technology that uses Bluetooth like a walkie-talkie to talk to nearby people without a cellular connection.

Like the Oppo Reno12 F 5G, the Oppo F27 5G is available in a smooth dark green and wavy orange colour variant, but its memory variants are more modest. The 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model is priced at 23,000 rupees (approximately $275, €246), while the 256GB variant is priced at 25,000 rupees (approximately $300, €270).
