Samsung, in cooperation with the Korean network SK Telecom, presents the Galaxy Quantum5 smartphone for users who require the highest level of security.
Samsung Galaxy Quantum5 is based on the mid-range model Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and continues the line of Galaxy Quantum models, offering above-standard levels of security. Compared to the base model, the new smartphone has been equipped with the ID Quantique (IDQ) cryptographic system. The full name of this system is Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG). Based on quantum physics, this processor offers encryption based on random numbers. In this way, it protects sensitive data, such as passwords or biometrics. Since the entire encryption process takes place on the device itself, it is impossible for the network to intercept the data. Unfortunately, the device is offered exclusively by SK Telecom in Korea and cannot be purchased outside the home market. The price is 618,200 won, or 462 dollars, 418 euros.
