Nubia's new tablet looks completely different from last year's Nubia Red Magic Gaming Pad, and has a new name - Redmagic Nova. It's time to find out its price and specification details.

Like other products from the brand, Redmagic Nova is a device for gamers that focuses on performance - its most important element is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version processor, with the main core overclocked to 3.4 GHz and a 1 GHz graphics card. The processor is accompanied by an advanced cooling system with an internal fan with a speed of 20 thousand revolutions per minute, and an impressive set of memory - 24 GB RAM, 1 TB internal memory in the most expensive variant. This set allowed the tablet to achieve as much as 2,352,902 points in the AnTuTu benchmark.

The tablet's interface is Red Magic OS 9.5 based on the Android 14 operating system, additionally equipped with Cube AI technology offering new control options and the Gravity X 2.0 platform allowing the tablet to be used as a portable console, as well as in a set with a keyboard and mouse, popular game controllers or VR and AR accessories.

The remaining elements of the Redmagic Nova look slightly worse - its 10.9-inch display has a resolution of 2.8K, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 840 Hz, and the 10100 mAh battery can be charged at 120 W, which according to the manufacturer should be enough to fill from 0 to 100% in 45 minutes, and a full battery will last for 10 hours of playing games. The whole thing is complemented by dual 4D vibration engines, as well as an appropriately gaming look with a transparent wall and RGB diodes showing the inside of the device.

Redmagic Nova will not only be useful for playing games - it is equally good for watching movies and even taking pictures, because it is accompanied by a fairly good (for a tablet) 50 Mpx camera on the back and 20 Mpx on the front. There is also an NFC chip and a side fingerprint scanner on the switch.

Redmagic Nova will go on sale on September 27, but its prices are already known. The tablet will be available in three memory configurations and in two shades, Cyclone black and Snowfall white. Their prices are as follows:

  • 12+256GB - 3999 yuan (approx. $565, €510)
  • 16+512GB - 4499 yuan (approx. $635, €570)
  • 24+1024GB (Snowfall only) - 5599 yuan (approx. $790, €770)
