Although the Vivo Y200 Pro was launched a few months ago, its successor has already hit the market, with an exceptionally large battery and other amenities.
The visual style of Vivo smartphones often changes from generation to generation, and the Vivo Y300 Pro is no exception - instead of repeating the look of its predecessor, this smartphone is inspired by the look of the flagship Vivo X100 series. The Vivo Y300 Pro is by no means a flagship, but it offers decent mid-range specs - its processor is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, and it's accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of memory in the most expensive variant. Its 6.77-inch AMOLED display offers a resolution of 1080 x 2392 px, 10-bit color depth, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5000 nits.
The 1/1.95-inch 50 Mpx main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 32 Mpx f/2.0 selfie camera have also been improved over their predecessor, while only the additional 2 Mpx depth sensor remains unchanged. Vivo Y300 also promises IP65 tightness, which means better resistance to dust and water compared to Vivo Y200 Pro, and the biggest difference is the battery - instead of the standard 5000 mAh, we have a 6500 mAh battery, charged at 80 W.
Vivo Y300 Pro is available in black, white, blue and titanium colors and four memory variants. The Vivo Y200 Pro has gone on sale outside of China, so it's possible that the Vivo Y300 will also see a global launch, and for now, its prices in the domestic market are as follows:
- 8+128GB - 1799 yuan ($254, €229)
- 8+256GB - 1899 yuan ($268, €241)
- 12+256GB - 2199 yuan ($310, €279)
- 12+512GB - 2499 yuan ($353, €318)
