Contrary to earlier announcements, Meizu is not slowing down - after the global Meizu Note 21 and Meizu Note 21 Pro, it is time to launch Meizu Lucky 08.
Instead of coming up with more variants of the Meizu 21, the brand belonging to the Geely automotive corporation decided to try something new and introduce a smartphone that brings luck - at least that is what its name suggests. In addition to the new name, the Lucky 08 also stands out for its appearance - on the back cover there is a large round island with irregularly placed cameras and a flash, and on the side under the volume buttons there is a red button, which is used not only to turn on the smartphone and lock the screen, but also to quickly launch the AI function. The manufacturer has so much faith in the attractiveness of artificial intelligence that it not only dedicates a special button to it, but also includes it in the name of the system - now it is not Flyme OS, but Flyme AIOS.

Apart from the elements mentioned, the Meizu Lucky 08 is a relatively average smartphone with mid-range parameters. Its strong point is the 6.78-inch 8T LTPO display, offering a resolution of 1.5K, a peak brightness of 5000 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, as well as a 6000 mAh battery charged at 33 W. The thin 1.75 mm bezel around the flat screen also looks attractive. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and it is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory in the most expensive variant. Its eye-catching main camera has a resolution of 100 Mpx and an aperture of f/1.67, but it does not offer OIS, and the secondary camera is a 2 Mpx depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8 Mpx selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture in the hole.
Meizu Lucky 08 is available in black and white color versions, as well as three memory variants at the following prices:
- 8+256 - 1599 yuan ($228, €204)
- 12+256 - 1799 yuan ($257, €229)
- 12+512 - 2099 yuan ($299, €268)
