The Chinese branch of Samsung has announced the local launch of the new Samsung W25 and Samsung W25 Flip models - i.e. local editions of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and Galaxy Z Flip6.
Both Chinese variants do not differ technically from the originals, although they have gained new housing colours, with matte black and gold applications. In addition, the smartphones are offered in more elegant boxes, along with covers with a consistent style and chargers. Let's recall the specifications...
Samsung W25 Flip is the well-known Galaxy Z Flip6 with an external, 3.4-inch display with a resolution of 720x748 pixels and an internal Dynamic AMOLED screen 2x 6.7 inches, with a resolution of Full HD+ and an image refresh rate adjustable in the range of 1-120 Hz. The smartphone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 4000 mAh battery with 25-watt charging and IP48 tightness. It also has a 10-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture and a wide-angle camera. In China, it is offered with 12 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB flash memory.

Samsung W25 is a local variation of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, available on the Korean market. It is slimmer and lighter than the basic Fold model, has a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch internal screen, both in Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, and is powered by a 4400 mAh battery with 25-watt wired charging and 15-watt induction. On board we also have a 200 megapixel main camera, a 12 Mpx wide-angle camera, a 10 Mpx telephoto camera, as well as a 10 Mpx selfie camera and a 4 Mpx under the internal display. In China, the model will be offered with 16 GB + 1 TB memory.

Prices have not been announced yet, but that doesn't really matter to us, because both W series models will remain available only in China.
