Vivo has unveiled the mid-range smartphones Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro. What do they offer and how much do they cost?
Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro share styling and much of the specification. Both models have 6.67-inch Full HD+ displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The base model has a flat screen, while the Pro model has a slightly curved edge. Both also have under-screen fingerprint scanners and 50-megapixel selfie cameras. The models differ in terms of processors and rear cameras. The Vivo S20 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and an additional 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a ring LED flash. The Pro model also has the same flash, but in addition to the 50 Mpx camera with OIS, there's an even better 50 Mpx wide-angle camera and another 50-megapixel camera, this time with a 3X periscope telephoto lens and optical stabilization. The Vivo S20 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor.
The batteries are also different. The base model has a 6500 mAh battery with 80-watt charging, while the Vivo S20 Pro has a 5500 mAh battery with 90W charging. Both smartphones use the Android 15 operating system with the OriginOS 5 interface. For now, they will only be available in China in the following variants:
