The Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones, known from the Chinese market, is making its debut in India, although its basic model differs slightly from the one previously presented in China.
The Indian - or rather global - Redmi Note 14 looks similar to the one known from China, but it has been equipped with an under-screen fingerprint reader. It also has a different, 20-megapixel selfie camera. The rest is basically the same as in the Chinese variant. So we have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 2100 nits, behind Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone also has a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor and a hybrid microSD card slot, as well as a 5100 mAh battery with 45-watt charging. The system is Android 14 with HyperOS 1.0 and promises of two updates and 4 years of security support.
The global Redmi Note 14 has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There are three body colors to choose from and the following memory versions:
- 6+128 GB - 18 thousand rupees, 212 USD
- 8+128 GB - 20 thousand rupees, 236 USD
- 8+256 GB - 21 thousand rupees, 250 USD
