The Indian brand Lava, known mainly for its cheap smartphones, has recently also had smartphones in its arsenal. Last year's Lava Prowatch VN and Lava Prowatch ZN have just been joined by a new model.
The Lava Prowatch V1 is also relatively cheap, but has quite good parameters. Its 1.85-inch octagonal AMOLED screen has a resolution of 450 x 390 px, a brightness of 500 nits and Gorilla Glass 3 protecting it, and the whole thing is dust- and waterproof, as confirmed by the IP68 certificate. The manufacturer additionally confirms that the smartwatch is sweat-resistant. Inside, the Lava Prowatch V1 has a Realtek 8773 processor, a 270mAh battery, GPS connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.3, which also allows for voice calls. The smartwatch is equipped with a heart rate and blood oxygen monitor, sleep and stress monitoring, as well as games, a voice assistant, over 110 sports modes and 100 watch faces.

The colour variants also add variety to the smartwatch, of which there are six in total. The four variants with silicone straps (the black Black Nebula, the dark blue Bluish Ronin, the brown Peachy Hikari, and the greenish Mint Shinobi) are priced at 2,399 rupees (about $28, €27), the Peachy Hikari with a rose-gold strap is priced at 2,699 rupees ($31, €30), and the Black Nebula with a black metal strap is priced at 2,799 rupees ($33, €32). The Lava Prowatch V1 is currently available in Indian stores and will soon be available on the manufacturer's website.
