Nubia V70 Max exceeds all the boundaries of a reasonably sized smartphone. Large smartphones have their fans, of course, but 7 inches and HD resolution plus? Even 120 Hz won't help here.
Nubia V70 Max is a large smartphone. Large in physical parameters, because with a weight of 213 grams it measures 171.8 x 78.4 x 8.3 mm. However, you have to add another 4 mm to the thickness for the camera island. It looks very aesthetic: very nice celadon, dark subdued gray and very nice red inserts in the form of the power button and the decoration of the island with cameras make the smartphone appealing.

The 7-inch display with 120 Hz refresh in the Nubia V70 Max smartphone could even be an advantage for some users, if not for its resolution, which will be an eyesore with pixels in the case of an IPS matrix. Dear manufacturer, 1640 x 720 pixels at 7 inches is really not the happiest solution.

The budget Nubia V70 Max is to be powered by the Unisoc 7200 processor with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and a small user memory for today's conditions: 128 GB. The main camera with a 50 Mpx matrix is to be accompanied by 2 Mpx for background blurring and an "AI camera" which is probably only a light sensor.
The 6000 mAh battery, the latest Android, the presence of a 3.5 mm jack socket, or an FM radio may be pleasing, but this may not be enough for the smartphone to gain popularity.

We expect the premiere - because it was announced for February 15. We have information that Nubia V70 Max will initially appear in the Philippines and Sri Lanka, where the unofficial pre-sale price is 32,999 Sri Lankan rupees. The twin version of the smartphone will also be released under the name ZTE Blade V70 Max (displayed by German stores, but without a price yet). The variants may differ in memory, FM radio support, or NFC.
